How do Sacramento Commercial HVAC Units work? Summit Airworks Functionality and Purpose
In all of our previous articles we have used the term HVAC. This is just an informative article that will break down the functionality of our units, what they do, and how they run efficiently for our clients buildings. First HVAC stands for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. This is the technology of indoor and vehicular environmental comfort, our we control our temperature and regulate comfort in our home and office. The goal for these units is essentially is to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality. HVAC system design is a subdiscipline of mechanical engineering, based on the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer. This is why we value and praise our design and installation team members so much, because they are such an educated and important part of our business.
HVAC is important in the design of medium to large industrial and office buildings such as skyscrapers and in marine environments such as aquariums, where safe and healthy building conditions are regulated with respect to temperature and humidity, using fresh air from outdoors. The three central functions of heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning are interrelated, especially with the need to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality within reasonable installation, operation, and maintenance costs. HVAC systems can provide ventilation, reduce air infiltration, and maintain pressure relationships between spaces. The means of air delivery and removal from spaces is known as room air distribution.
Hopefully this helps in breaking down the function of our units. We will ensure that they are always running efficiently and provide proper temperature regulation.
